%A عرفان, أسامة محمد %D 2014 %T دارسة وعي طلبة كلية الهندسة جامعة القصيم بمهارة ماوارء المعرفة للاستعداد للامتحانات وتقديمها %K Meta-cognition, tests readiness, university students %X This study is aimed at determining the degree of awareness of the students, in the faculty of engineering, Qassim University, regarding "Meta-cognition" knowledge about testtaking., preparation and submission of exams. A sample of two hundred (200) students was selected randomly from all levels in all the departments – Civil, Electrical and Mechanical of the college. The sample also included the students having high, medium and low grades. The researcher applied a questionnaire of Metacognitive thinking concerning skills for preparing and setting of tests on the sample. The overall results of the study showed that the average awareness of meta-cognitive thinking skills of the students was 63.2 out of 108. There was statistically significant difference between civil students and other departments. The significant statistical difference was attributed to cumulative average for high achievers. The study also revealed that the students in the higher levels possess higher awareness of meta-cognition skills regarding submission and preparation of the exams as compared to the low level students. %U http://publication.du.edu.eg/journal/ojs302design/index.php/spe/article/view/2145 %J Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Specific Education %0 Journal Article %V 3 %N 5 %8 2014-12-01
